What is CDS?
CDS stands for Combined Defence Service Exam which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) two times in a year as CDS1 and CDS2. It is a written exam organized to take admission in Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers Training Academy (OTA). Aspirants who successfully qualify the exam are further called for the interview by Service Selection Board (SSB).
